Hello there, New Year. Here comes the start of a new visual project – hoping that I’ll be taking amazing photos mid-way through. To recap, lots happened in 2014, most notably:
1. Made the career transition I’d been dreaming of for the longest time – from finance into retail/fashion.
2. Shot my first paid session and was asked to shoot a wedding this year (not sure if this will happen yet).
3. Put up a real Christmas tree and hosted my family’s Christmas gathering for the very first time — turned out to be a success. On top of that, I learned how to cook a new dish I’d been meaning to learn for a while now – Vietnamese bun rieu.
4. Successfully baked macarons – not once but twice.
And this post just made me realize that I should’ve taken more photos. Bummer. Anyway, can’t hold on to what’s passed so here’s to 2015 – I’m a proponent of goal-setting and find myself doing this constantly – my biggest goal is to take amazing photos. Let’s do it here.
