I’ve never felt like I could wear a red lip well regardless of how classic it looks on everyone else, but heyyy it seems to be that everyone’s switched gears and is all about the 90s brown. I picked up MAC’s Lip Pencil in Soar last week and have been loving it. Here, I wore it with MAC’s Hug me on top. Alone, I find it too dark and purply for my taste so adding Hug Me translates into a slightly more brown tone. The outcome is this brick brown I’m really enjoying at the moment. As someone who isn’t particularly fond of lip products, I actually find myself really liking this lip pencil since it isn’t drying nor does it accentuate dry, peeling lips. So if you haven’t found a lip product you like but want to branch out into the color zone, I’d highly recommend picking this up…you’re really not losing anything at $16 a pop.
