One of my biggest goals this year is to shoot a styled lookbook – I’ve been wanting to do this for the longest time, but I’d find myself making excuses i.e. I don’t have time, I can’t find models, I can’t go anywhere with my kids, which is all true but at the same time feels like it should be achievable in some way or manner especially when I come across bloggers that shoot their own outfit posts in public places. So anyway, I’ve been feeling really motivated to go at it even if it means having to use myself as the model, photographer, makeup artist, and stylist. I’d eventually want to work with a creative team, but my non-single-life schedule makes it difficult (any volunteers in this area? shoot me an e-mail).
I decided to do a few test shots yesterday and came up with these here that I feel pretty ok about. I’m also having my dad build me a platform to elevate my mini photography studio so there will be a dormancy in these types of posts over the next two weeks as it’s in the making – I’m excited and can’t wait to take more photos.
