I came home to these and I’m little more than excited to try two in the AM.
Jouer Anti-Aging Moisture Primer – This is basically my foray into Jouer. I’ve been curious about the brand long enough and decided it was time for a new primer since I’ve been using Tarte’s Clean Slate Brightening Primer, but feel pretty meh about it now. I’m hoping this one will create a smoother canvas with a bit more slip…guess I’ll see tomorrow.
Jouer “Ooh La La” Cosmetic Pouch – I’ve never really been a “take my makeup everywhere with me” kinda person, but lately when I’m running late in the mornings, I find myself fumbling to get my sh*t together so I can get my makeup on at work. That pretty much warrants a new makeup bag…I wanted something simple, classic, and timeless, which sums this thing up. The color says pink, but I actually think it’s more nude. The super soft, buttery leather will easily pack what I need.
Napoleon Perdis Angled Contour Brush (15b) – My sight has really been set on the NARS Ita brush, but it doesn’t really make sense for me to buy such an expensive tool when I’m not a complete fan of the extremely contoured look. I’d been eying this one for quite some time ever since I found it on Nordstrom and almost got it for free with a note (*yay*). So far, I can say the bristles are dense and short yet super soft which is exactly what I’m looking for. I feel pretty confident it’ll perform to my expectations.
